Adam's Week Off Work

Wow! I am not good at updating this yet. Oh well...I'm still new.
Adam took a week off work to work on the tiling. He did the laundry room during Thanksgiving Weekend. Now he is trying to finish both bathrooms this week. He has finished tiling our small bathroom now. He has been trying for the last hour to hook up the toilet without it leaking. We might just have to leave it and try again in the morning...as it is getting late now. He is almost done prepping our bathroom floor. He has just a little bit more to scrape. And, he should be able to put down the tile in our bathroom tomorrow. It is looking so nice. (By the way...he just told me the small bathroom is working just fine now and is all put back together. Yeah!!)

We took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese this afternoon. The kids had such a good time. Our kids recieved some gift cards for there from their new baby cousin Kimberly. It was the best gift. I also found some coupons online so we got 400 tokens for $40. It is plenty for several trips. And the kids are saving all their tickets for one big prize. Of course, the prize they want is 4000 tickets. But we will see how close they get. I am sure they will be able to find something else they like when we tally up all the tickets. Anyway...that was the best gift. We gave out some gift cards for Chuck E. Cheese as well for Christmas. I hope they are having as much fun using them as we are using ours.

Well...Happy New Year! Ben's back in school...Adam's back to work...everything is back to normal! YEAH! We had a great Holiday Season. The kids got just enough toys to keep them busy, but not enough that we needed to rearrange everything to make room for them. We had my sister, Steph, and her family in town before Christmas. That was wonderful! We just played around with them and had such a good time. We even drove over to New Orleans one day and walked through the city. It was fun.

The new year is already bringing with it new challenges. I have a new assignment at church as the Nursery Leader. That will be interesting. The kids are cute in my class...there just seems to be SO many of them. I'll make it work. It's a great challenge.
